Mereka membawakan lagu berjudul "Animal Farm" yang dirilis pada 1968 sebagai trek pertama dari CD kedua album The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society.

Album keenam mereka ini diakui sebagai salah satu karya terbaik sepanjang masa oleh majalah musik Rolling Stone.
