Lagu yang aslinya milik Delaney & Bonnie itu menjadi hit setelah dilantunkan oleh The Carpenters.

Sonic Youth menyanyikan kembali untuk album mereka yang diberi nama If I Were a Carpenter sebagai penghormatan terhadap The Carpenters yang selalu menjadi inspirasi mereka.
